Drive Belts Page 2

With frequent use it will be necessary to replace the drive belt on your woodworking machinery.

It is recommended that you regularly check the condition of drive belts and replace them when they show signs of wear, such as frayed edges. Another symptom of a worn drive belt is slipping on the drive shaft. This is most common with Table Saws, Lathes and Bandsaws where the tooling will stall, yet you can still hear the motor running.
